Vision for the project:
With my games, I wanted to create branding through my designs so that when someone logged onto one of my games, they would immediately recognise the design and know who made it. I decided to create a few environmental assets to do this.
Achievements
I created some well topologized, assets which I could drag into any project and immediately use. I also created a working trampoline inside of Fortnite, which had never been seen before.
Favourite part
My favourite part of this project was designing all of these assets. I had so much fun inside of blender just creating different environmental assets, from trees, through to rocks and tufts of grass. I also had a lot of fun in optimizing the topology for each of these assets, I found it really relaxing.
Challenges I faced
A challenge for this project which was replicated in each asset I made was achieving a low poly count, whilst maintaining high detail.
Results
The result of this project was that I ended up with a bunch of assets which were easy to use in different projects, as well as recognisable, which definetely aided my original intention of building branding through my designs.
