Vision for the project:
The client of this project asked me to make a tycoon themed around bees creating honey, and then being able to sell that honey to expand your honey farm and base.
Achievements
I was able to implement the unique environment collection system which I had created in Easter Tycoon. We also added onto to it, by creating an upgradeable backpack system.
Favourite part
My favourite part of this project was designing the players plot. I went for a mixture of a modern house, mixed with a bee hive, and I think my execution was great. I enjoyed designing both the interior and exterior, and in the end think the players plot looked amazing.
Challenges I faced
A challenge for this project was meeting the deadline. The client had set a short deadline for this project, and then continued to ask for extra content inside of their game, I added this content as I was trying to build a good reputation in the space, however by the end of the project it definately began to get stressful.
Results
By the time of the game being published, I had created an incredibly unique game mechanic within a tycoon game, the collection mechanic, as well as met the criteria and more. The clients were incredibly happy with the final project.
