Vision for the project:
The client for this project, Bugha, was the first ever Fortnite world cup winner, and arguably one of the most famous Fortnite professional. He commissioned me and my friend to create a well made zone wars style game, full of design but also near to no lag.
Achievements
I created a visually beautiful game, making the client happy.
Favourite part
My favourite part of this project was the level design. I found having reason behind each asset placement was quite fun, even if it took more time to produce, it definetely made the game feel more fluid when playing it
Challenges I faced
The only challenge faced within this project was the memory limit. Our project was 5 times bigger than the memory limit, so we had to reduce for the game to be published. We managed to figure out that by using data layers, and loading in each area as the players needed, the memory was reduced.
Results
By the end of this product, we had a well made and designed game for one of the biggest names within the space. Equally as a result, our reputation increased and we had an increase in demand from bigger names in the space.
